Girl Scout Troop 2598 from Portsmouth City Schools came out to Sierra’s Haven today to volunteer cleaning the cat rooms and socializing with our cats and kittens. GIRL SCOUT BROWNIE TROOP #2989, SCIOTOVILLE – May 6, 2014
 We want to thank these girls for collecting donations of items from Sierra’s Wish List.  They delivered the items and took a tour of the shelter, then played with cats and kittens.
Sierra’s Haven would like to extend a great big THANK YOU to Local Girl Scout Troop #2659 who brought in a truckload of donations (cleaning supplies, dog and cat food, newspapers, toys, etc.) to Sierra’s Haven on Thursday, April 24, 2014.  July 21, 2014 Addison Fisher, who lives in Greenup County, Kentucky, participated in a “cold water challenge” and bought some dog treats and toys for the animals at Sierra’s with the money she raised.  She is always thinking of us and we are so grateful for her and her mother, Melissa!  Thank You!!!
